| Beschreibung: Vom FBI in die Kreise der illegalen Straßenrennen in Los Angeles eingeschleust, wurde Brian O’Conner so tief in die faszinierende Welt der High Speed Szene hineingezogen, daß er deren Anführer entkommen ließ, was seiner Karriere bei der Polizei ein Ende setzte. Nun ist er in Miami, weit weg von seiner Vergangenheit. Hier bekommt er seine letzte Chance: die Behörden sind dem Geschäftsmann Carter Verone auf der Spur, der seine Firma dazu benutzt, ein internationales Geldwäschekartell zu betreiben. Allerdings hat man nach einem Jahr Beobachtung nicht mehr gegen ihn in der Hand als die Tatsache, daß er an illegalen Straßenrennen teilnimmt.
