Mike O’Donnell (Zac Efron) ist der Star des Basketballteams seiner Highschool,
mit College-Scouts im Nacken und einer glänzenden Zukunft vor sich.
Doch er pfeift auf die große Karriere,
um sich ganz seiner Freundin Scarlett und dem gemeinsamen Baby zu widmen,
das bereits unterwegs ist.Rund zwanzig Jahre später:
Mikes (Matthew Perry) glorreiche Zeiten sind längst vorbei.
Die Ehe mit Scarlett (Leslie Mann) ist zerbrochen,
bei der Beförderung im Job wurde er übergangen,
seine Teenagerkinder halten ihn für einen Versager,
und dann ist er auch noch darauf angewiesen,
bei seinem besten Highschool-Freund Ned (Thomas Lennon) unterzukriechen,

Jack Bruno (Dwayne Johnson) ist Taxifahrer in Las Vegas und hat schon so ziemlich alles erlebt.

Doch mit Hilfe der smarten Astrophysikerin Dr. Alex Friedman (Carla Gugino) kann die Jagd zum mysterisen magischen Berg beginnen.
Denn nur dort knnen Seth und Sara ihren Auftrag beenden und nicht nur die Erde, sondern auch einen fernen Planeten,

da sie ausgerechnet seine Angehimmelte gekidnappt haben.
Als frischgebackene Legionre verpassen Asterix und Obelix ihren neuen \"Kameraden\"
eine Abreibung nach der anderen.
Da darf der Galeerenkapitn im groen Teich und der Koch in seiner eigenen Suppe baden.
\"Die spinnen, die Rmer\"
zu diesem Urteil kommt man auch im neuesten und tollsten Lachsalven-Hit mit den Helden aus Klein-Bonum.
Asterix und Obelix sind das unschlagbare Gag-Gespann.

Der siegreiche Csar fllt mit seinen Truppen in England ein.
Taktisch klug legt der clevere Imperator den Vormarsch seiner
Truppen in die Zeiten des tglichen \"Fnf-Uhr-Tees\" und die zwei

Dabei stoßen sie auf einen Koffer mit alten Super-8 Filmen, die starke Ähnlichkeit mit den berüchtigten ‘Snuff-Filmen’ aufweisen. Zwar sind sie dadurch etwas beunruhigt, aber trotzdem lassen es die Freunde am Abend so richtig knallen. Zurück auf dem Zeltplatz geht die Party weiter. Doch angeheitert wie die Gruppe ist, bemerkt zunächst keiner, dass einer nach dem anderen verschwindet. Und dass der Diner-Besitzer nichts Gutes mit ihnen im Sinn hat…

waehrend die noerdliche Insel Hokkaid? (oder Ezo, wie sie im Film genannt wird), von einer Union besetzt war.
Im selben Jahr begann die besagte Union mit der Konstruktion eines seltsamen Turmes in Hokkaido,
welcher von einem Wissenschaftler namens Ekusun Tsukinoe entworfen worden war.
Bei klarer Wetterlage sollte dieser Turm von unermesslicher Hoehe bis Tokyo zu erblicken sein.

Die Drachenjaeger

Plot:
In ferner Zukunft ist die Welt, wie wir sie kennen, nur noch eine dunkle Erinnerung.
Die Erde selbst ist nur noch eine Ansammlung von kleineren und groesseren,
asteroidengleichen Gesteinsbrocken, die ebenso wie die Menschen selbst, ziellos dahin treiben.
Staendig brechen weitere Stuecke auseinander, und wer noch ein festes Heim sein Eigen nennen kann,
muss sich der Drachen erwehren, die das ganze Land mit Feuer und Zerstoerung ueberziehen.
Da kommen die Drachenjaeger Gwizdo und Lian-Chu wie gerufen, auch wenn sie haeufig nur Spott
und Hohn fuer ihre Dienste ernten. Der vorlaute Gwizdo, der fuer das Aushandeln der Vertraege zustaendig ist,
und der riesenhafte Lian-Chu, der das Stricken liebt, und ihr Spuerdrache Hector, den sie als Hund tarnen,
koennen zwar eine beachtliche Erfolgsbilanz aufweisen, aber sie wirken mehr wie streunende Landstreicher,
denn wie ruhmreiche Helden. Der blinde Lord Arnold, der sie fuer edle Ritter haelt, beauftragt sie dennoch,
den Weltenfresser, den schrecklichsten aller Drachen, zu vernichten. Gwizdo will
eigentlich nur die Belohnung einstreichen, aber Lian-Chu und Arnolds tapfere Nichte Zoe,
die selbst ein Ritter werden moechte, machen sich tatsaechlich auf den beschwerlichen Weg
ans Ende der Welt, um es mit dem gefaehrlichen Drachen aufzunehmen.

Ratatouille

Plot:
Der Held des Films, Rmy, ist eine Ratte vom Lande mit einem selbst fuer Ratten ungewoehnlich feinen Geruchssinn.
Neben einem kurzen Einsatz als Giftschnueffler fuer seine Rattenfamilie entwickelt er die Faehigkeit
und die Liebe zu kulinarischen Kompositionen.
Allein schon fuer Zutaten zum leckeren Essen begibt er sich in Lebensgefahr.
Einer erschreckt wuetenden Hausfrau koennen er und seine Sippe entkommen,
bei der Flucht verliert er aber Familie und Freunde aus den Augen.
Es verschlaegt ihn zufaellig durch lange Abwasserroehren nach Paris in die Naehe eines Feinschmeckerlokals,
welches sein verstorbenes Vorbild Gusteau, ein besonders dicker und gutmuetiger Sternekoch, frueher gefuehrt hat.
Waehrend des ganzen Films fuehrt Rmy teils tiefsinnige Zwiesprache mit dem Geist dieses Mannes,
welcher wie ein orientalischer Geist Rmy erscheint.

MacGyver besitzt anscheinend einen unglaublichen Einfallsreichtum, wenn es darum geht, mit Hilfe seiner handwerklichen Begabung und Alltagsgegenstnden, immer wieder Dinge zu basteln, mit denen er sich aus schwierigen Situationen befreit. So zweckentfremdet er schon mal Kaugummi und setzt diesen als Sprengstoff ein oder entschrft eine Bombe mittels einer Broklammer. Aufgrund eines schicksalhaften Ereignisses in seiner Vergangenheit (im Kindesalter spielten er und seine Freunde mit einem Revolver, der pltzlich losging und einen von ihnen ttete) weigert er sich, im Kampf gegen das Bse eine Waffe zu tragen, und versucht, Gewalt so gut es geht, zu vermeiden. Stattdessen lst MacGyver seine Probleme mit gesundem Menschenverstand und viel Wissen um Physik, Chemie und Elektrotechnik. Im Auftrag der Phoenix Foundation, einer Forschungsorganisation, die gleichzeitig ein privater Sicherheitsdienst ist, bereist er oftmals die ganze Welt, um brenzlige Situationen zu entschrfen oder knifflige Rtsel zu lsen. Pete Thornton, der Leiter dieser Stiftung, steht ihm hierbei als Freund und Boss regelmig zur Seite.

MacGyvers groer Einfallsreichtum und Wagemut lassen sich vielleicht durch sein Physikstudium und seine Zeit als Agent der Special Forces ein wenig erklren; den grten Anteil hat dabei jedoch sein ungebrochenes Vertrauen in das Gute. Wie jeder groe Fernsehheld hat auch MacGyver seine verschiedenen Markenzeichen; das berhmteste ist hierbei wohl sein Schweizer Armeemesser, dicht gefolgt von der obligatorischen Rolle Klebeband. Letzteres hat sich oft als treuer Freund erwiesen und ihn aus vielen kniffligen Situationen befreit. Ein anderes sind seine Haare mit Vokuhila-Schnitt.

Lange Zeit war es dem Zuschauer nicht bekannt, wie sein Held mit Vornamen heit. Erst in der Folge „Ritter MacGyver, Teil 2 („Good Knight MacGyver, Part 2) der siebten Staffel wurde sein Vorname als Angus entschlsselt, obwohl er von seinem Grovater Harry erstmals in der Folge „Zielscheibe MacGyver mit „Bud angeredet wird.
