Erstausstrahlung USA: Montag, 18.Februar 2008 Deutschland: Dienstag, 9.Juni 2009 Gastdarsteller der Episode: In der Sitcom 'The New Adventures of Old Christine' spielt Julia Louis-Dreyfus, bekannt als Elaine aus der Kult-Serie 'Seinfeld', die alleinerziehende Mutter Christine Campbell. Sie lebt in einem reichen Vorort in Florida und betreibt dort ein 30-Minuten-Workout Fitnessstudio für Frauen. Zu Hause lebt sie mit ihrem faulen Bruder Matthew zusammen, der so was wie ihr bester Freund ist und auch oft auf Sohn Ritchie aufpasst. Eigentlich hat Christine auch ein gutes Verhältnis zu ihrem Ex-Mann Richard. Sie kommen sogar besser miteinander aus als während der Ehe. Das ändert sich jedoch schlagartig als sie seine neue Freundin kennenlernt. Diese ist hübscher und jünger als sie und heißt ebenfalls Christine. Zudem entpuppt sich die 'New' Christine auch noch als so nett, dass man sie einfach gar nicht hassen kann. Von nun an versucht die 'Old' Christine wieder in das Liebesleben zu starten, was natürlich zu allerhand peinlichen Situationen führt. Dazu muss sie sich auch noch gegen die versnobten Mütter an der Privatschule ihres Sohnes behaupten, die im Gegensatz zu Christine nicht arbeiten und deswegen auf sie herab schauen. | ||
