FSK: ab 12, "Dragonball Evolution" erzählt von der abenteuerlichen Suche des jungen Goku nach den sagenumwobenen sieben Dragonballs. Die magischen Dragonballs bewahren eine unterschiedliche Anzahl an Sternen in ihrem Inneren und sind weit verstreut. Demjenigen jedoch, dem es gelingt, alle sieben Dragonballs zusammenzuführen, erscheint der heilige Drache Shenlong, der ihm einen Wunsch erfüllt. Goku erhält eines Tages von seinem Großvater Gohan, der ihn schon seit Jahren in der Kampfkunst unterweist, einen Dragonball geschenkt. Während er am selben Abend die Feier der attraktiven Chi Chi besucht, in die er heimlich verliebt ist, wird das Haus des Großvaters von dem mächtigen Lord Piccolo und dessen Komplizin Mai angegriffen. Sie sind auf der Suche nach Gohan's Dragonball und ahnen nicht, dass Goku ihn bei sich trägt. Als Goku nach Hause kommt, findet er den sterbenden Großvater vor, der ihm kurz vor seinem Tode ein Versprechen abringt: Goku soll sich auf die Suche nach Meister Roshi machen und mit ihm gemeinsam die verbliebenen sechs Dragonballs finden. Das muss allerdings noch vor der nahenden Sonnenfinsternis passieren, denn sonst werden die Mächte des Bösen sich durchsetzen und den Plan ihrer Weltherrschaft realisieren. Goku macht sich auf die Suche nach Meister Roshi. Als er ihn endlich findet, erkennt dieser an Gokus Kampfstil schnell, dass er ein Schüler des alten Gohan gewesen sein muss. Er unterweist Goku im Drachentempel in die Kunst des richtigen Umgangs mit der Energie der drei Elemente Luft, Feuer und Wasser. Zu ihnen stoßen die kluge Kämpferin Bulma und die starke Chi Chi und gemeinsam begeben sie sich auf die Suche nach den Dragonballs. Sie müssen sich beeilen, denn auch der böse Lord Piccolo will alle sieben Dragonballs finden, um die Erde zu zerstören. | ||
