| Beschreibung: Daten, Zahlen, Rechnungen - das ist die Welt von Jonathan McQuarry (Ewan McGregor). Als Buchprüfer arbeitet er jede Woche in einem anderen anonymen Bürogebäude aus Glas und Stahl. Bis ihn in eines Abends der charismatische Anwalt Wyatt Bose (Hugh Jackman) aus seiner Arbeit reisst. Freundlich, witzig und kumpelhaft nimmt er den schüchternen Jonathan mit in seine Welt. Schnell entwickelt sich Freundschaft zwischen den beiden. Als Wyatt und Jonathan aus Versehen ihre Handys vertauschen, beginnt Jonathans Abenteuer. Eine Frauenstimme meldet sich bei Jonathan mit den Worten 'Sind Sie heute abend frei?' und von da an wird er in die 'Die Liste' hineingezogen, einen exklusiven Sex-Club, in dem nur die reichen und attraktiven New Yorker verkehren. Keine harten Sachen, keine Namen, das sind die Regeln. Als Jonathan nach einiger Zeit seine Traumfrau trifft, beginnt sein Albtraum.
